The
Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC)
is organizing its
11th ANRPC Annual Rubber Conference
, on
October 8, 2018, at The Riverie by Katathani, Chiang Rai, Thailand
. The Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) is hosting the Conference on behalf of the Government of Thailand.
The one-day event, to be attended by about 300 rubber industry players, analysts and policy-makers from about 15 countries, provides an international meeting point for the world rubber fraternity to deliberate on issues confronting the sector and identify appropriate policy measures.
Under the theme “
Adapting for the Emerging Megatrends
”, the programme for the conference is designed to have meaningful discussions on the needs for reorienting the natural rubber production and the processing sectors to match with the emerging new requirements from the end-user industry. The programme is attached.

Besides the keynote address and four invited presentations, the programme includes a Panel Discussion titled “
Breaking the barriers and striving for a sustainable future: Are smallholders equipped to embrace the emerging scenario?"
. The Panel will be represented by Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, India, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea.
