Purpose of the Flag Competition:
To design a flag for the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries
(ANRPC).
Background of ANRPC:
The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) is an
inter-governmental organization established in 1970.
The membership is open to the governments of countries producing natural
rubber. As of now, the ANRPC has 11 Members; governments of Cambodia, China,
India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri
Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
These 11 countries accounted for about 90 per cent of the global
production of natural rubber during 2014. For further details, please refer to

Terms
& Conditions

Please
review the official terms and conditions before registering and entering the
Challenge.
·
There
is no entry fee, payment or purchase necessary to enter this challenge.
·
By
entering this challenge, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Terms
and Conditions herein:
1) Eligibility
·
Open
to all students from ANRPC Member Countries aged 12 to 21. The age of majority
in their jurisdiction or residence whichever is earlier as of 21st
December 2015.
·
Entrants
must be a citizen of ANRPC member countries (Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia,
Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam)
and study within the country for primary/secondary/ tertiary education,
whichever applies.
2) Competition Duration
·
The
Challenge will starts from 21st December 2015 to 30 June 2016, 23:59
hours (GMT +0800). The Organizing Committee of this challenge must receive all
submissions by 30th June 2016, 23:59 hours (GMT +0800). Any
late submission will be automatically disqualified.
3) How to Enter
·
All
entries must comply with the entry requirements in this terms and conditions
section. It is each entrant’s responsibility to ensure compliance of the stated
terms and conditions.
·
Entrants
must complete the Online
Registration Form
before submitting qualifying materials.
·
In
the registration form indicate the category the team is competing in.
·
Multiple
submissions are allowed, however teams or individuals will be required to sign
up again for a different team ID.
4) Submission
·
After
registering online, teams can submit its competing materials to anrpc.secretariat@gmail.com during the competition duration as
mentioned above.
·
For
submission, teams should briefly describe their project in no more than 160
words, document their project and submit a maximum of 6 drawings/images in both photo
format (JPEG,JPG, PNG and others) or PDF format. Kindly state your preference
of design(s) in order if submission of more than 1 drawing/image.
·
Projects
must be original and must not have been submitted for other past or existing
competitions. However, relevant school/university assignments and project
materials can be submitted for the competition.
·
Any
materials that breach the terms and conditions stated here or is found to have
been plagiarized will be automatically disqualified.
·
Submitted
materials will not be returned.
·
Upon
submission of the materials, entrants grant Organizing Committee the right to
use all or part of the entry, the submitted project and any related materials
for publicity purposes of the Contest and/or the Association’s usage.
·
Please
note that in some jurisdiction, publication of your project on the our website
could materially affect intellectual property rights (e.g., adversely affect
patent and design rights) that you may own in the project. You should make your
own inquiries and seek your own advice on this issue.
5) Misconduct
·
Organizing
Committee reserve the right to suspend, in its discretion, to disqualify any
entrant who:
(a) tampers with the entry or judging
process, the operation of the challenge, the official website or affiliated
websites;
(b) acts in an unsporting or disruptive
manner, or with intent to annoy or harass another person;
(c) is otherwise in violation of these
terms and conditions or any applicable laws;
(d) attempts to subvert the letter and/or
spirit of these terms and conditions. The Organizing Committee reserves the
rights to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by
law.
6) Termination
·
The
Organizing Committee reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the
challenge at any time for any reason, in its discretion, including without
limitation in the event of fraud, abuse, tampering, technical, administrative,
financial, or other difficulties.
·
In
such case, Organizing Committee will post the notice on the its website.
Any entrants can withdraw from the competition by emailing anrpc.secretariat@gmail.com.
7) Prizes
·
There
will be three (3) winners/designs selected from all the entries.
·
Winner(s)
will be notified through email from Organizing Committee (ANRPC) –
anrpc.secretariat@gmail.com, latest by 1 November 2016.
·
To
qualify for the award, individual(s) or team(s) must submit the following
document along with a copy of their identification documents (passport / NRIC).
