While the global demand of NR estimated a 0.3% growth, year-on-year, to 1.210 million tons. The World Bank has revised downwards its projection for the global economy growth for 2022 from 4.1% to 3.2%, resulted from the unfolding developments surrounding the Ukraine conflicts and lockdowns in China as it poses uncertainty and may slowdown the global economic recovery prospects.
For a better assessment and decision-making, ANRPC has started an online survey to gather feedback from rubber stakeholders in the value chain of NR industry on the proposed Sustainable Price Mechanism (SPM). The said proposed mechanism is to address prevailing low prices and safeguard the interests of stakeholders in the NR industry. It’s ultimately to provide a sustainable development in the entire value chain of NR industry in the long run. The duration of online survey has been extended till further notice.
