SINGAPORE: Japanese rubber futures shed early gains to trade lower on Tuesday, pressured by a firmer yen and the prospect for higher supply.

On the brighter side, the service sector activity returned to growth as customer demand improved further and helped lift sales.

The IMF cut its projection for global output growth in 2025 to 2.8 per cent in its updated World Economic Outlook released on April 22.
