Belarus, Indonesia identified areas for expanding supplies

Belarus and Indonesia have pinpointed areas for expanding their supply co-operation — as discussed during a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich and Indonesia’s Co-ordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, sb.by reports citing the Belarusian Government’s press service
Mr. Karankevich highlighted that Belarus views Indonesia as a reliable, important and promising partner, stating that “Belarus is exploring the development of comprehensive co-operation with the Republic of Indonesia.”
The two sides discussed opportunities for interaction across a wide range of mutually beneficial areas. Belarus expressed its willingness to engage in diverse co-operation, including supporting Indonesia’s key goal of ensuring food security and improving agricultural efficiency by applying Belarusian expertise in mechanising the agro-industrial sector.
Additionally, they addressed the supply of Belarusian food products, specialised agricultural machinery, as well as attached and trailed equipment, along with the establishment of joint ventures to assemble this machinery in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the discussion included imports from Indonesia to Belarus, such as rubber, seafood, cocoa beans and other agricultural goods.
