Dr Noraini Ahmad To Lead Plantation And Commodities Portfolio

Dr Noraini Ahmad has been officially appointed as the new Minister of Plantation and Commodities, taking over from Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, who has been reassigned as Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

Dr Noraini will oversee policies related to Malaysia’s key commodities, including palm oil, rubber, timber and other strategic sectors that contribute significantly to the national economy.

Her appointment comes as part of Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s cabinet reshuffle, which aims to strengthen leadership in critical economic ministries.
