Ringgit opens higher as greenback slides on escalating trade tensions
The ringgit extended its upward momentum to open firmer against the US dollar on Monday, as the greenback slipped to a new three-year low following the worsening US-China trade conflict.

The ringgit extended its upward momentum to open firmer against the US dollar on Monday, as the greenback slipped to a new three-year low following the worsening US-China trade conflict.
At 8 am, the local currency rose by 1.06 per cent to 4.4185/4270 against the greenback, compared to 4.4200/4265 at last Friday's close.
