World rubber prices rose today at the beginning of the new week due to news that China has eased export restrictions on Nexperia chips used in the civilian sector and the weakening of the Yen.

Thailand's Meteorological Department warned that heavy rains from November 17 to 23 could cause flash floods and inundation in rubber growing areas, raising concerns of supply disruptions in the world's largest rubber producer.
