SunSirs: Thailand's Natural Rubber Exports Decrease by 5.3%

The latest data shows that Thailand's total exports of natural rubber (excluding composite rubber) in 2025 will be 2.669 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.3%. Among them, the total export of standard rubber was 1.478 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16%; The export of cigarette adhesive reached 438,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 24%; Latex exports amounted to 735,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8%.
The total export volume of natural rubber in Thailand decreased by 5.3% year-on-year, and the overall supply reduction benefited spot prices. Among them, the 16% decrease in standard rubber exports reflects weak specific demand, but the negative impact is partially offset by a 24% increase in cigarette adhesive and an 8% increase in latex, supporting price increases. In the futures market, the main contract 2605 closed up 365 RMB to 16,315 RMB/ton, with high trading volume and large holdings, indicating strong bullish sentiment; The export data strengthens the expectation of tight supply, which may further drive up futures prices.
