ANRPC Participated in IRRDB Socio-Economic Seminar, Bali Indonesia

The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) participated in the International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB) seminar, organized by the Indonesian Rubber Research Institute from 30 June – 2 July 2026 in Bali, Indonesia. 

Representing ANRPC, Dr. Lekshmi Nair delivered a keynote speech on “Impact of the Iran–United States Conflict on the Natural Rubber Industry: Strategic Measures to Mitigate Its Economic Consequences.” Dr. Nair’s address highlighted the global implications of geopolitical tensions on the natural rubber sector and outlined strategies to safeguard economic resilience. 

Alongside Dr. Nair, Ms. Riska Pujiati contributed to seminar discussions held under the theme “Strengthening Economic Resilience and Value Addition in the Global Natural Rubber Supply Chain.” 

The seminar emphasized the importance of collective action among stakeholders to build a more resilient, innovative, and sustainable global natural rubber industry. Discussions focused on ensuring continued support for millions of smallholder farmers while advancing environmental sustainability and economic growth.
