The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) participated in the 12th International Rubber Glove Conference & Exhibition (IRGCE) 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur from 8 to 10 September 2026, strengthening its engagement with stakeholders across the global rubber industry.
KUALA LUMPUR, 10 September 2026 — The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) participated in the 12th International Rubber Glove Conference & Exhibition (IRGCE) 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur from 8 to 10 September 2026, strengthening its engagement with stakeholders across the global rubber industry.
Held under the theme “Synergising Innovation: Redefine the Future of Rubber Glove Ecosystem,” IRGCE 2026 brought together global industry leaders, manufacturers, technologists, and other stakeholders to discuss innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in the rubber glove ecosystem.
As part of the programme, Dr. Suttipong Angthong, Secretary-General of ANRPC, delivered a presentation titled “Navigating the Global Natural Rubber Outlook” during the plenary session “Economic Synergies and Sustainable Initiatives for the Glove Ecosystem.” ANRPC’s presentation highlighted key developments shaping the global natural rubber market and its implications for the rubber glove industry.
Sideline Meetings Expand Opportunities for Cooperation
On the sidelines of IRGCE 2026, Dr Suttipong Angthong and Dr Lekshmi Nair, ANRPC held a series of high-level meetings with international partners to explore opportunities for closer cooperation.
In its meeting with representatives of the Latin American Rubber Association (SLTC), ANRPC discussed potential collaboration between Asian and Latin American natural rubber-producing countries. The discussions focused on knowledge sharing and capacity building, including sharing experiences and best practices.
ANRPC also held a joint meeting with the China Synthetic Rubber Industry Association (CSRIA) to identify potential areas of cooperation covering both the natural rubber and synthetic rubber sectors. Discussions included opportunities for data and publication sharing, as well as participation in events organised by the two organisations. The engagement with CSRIA provided an avenue for greater information exchange and strengthened institutional ties between the two organisations.
In a separate meeting with TechnoBiz, ANRPC discussed potential partnerships in organising rubber industry events alongside programmes held in ANRPC Member Countries.
Advancing Cooperation Across the Global Rubber Industry
The engagements reaffirmed ANRPC’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships across the global rubber industry, while opening new avenues for collaboration with partners in Asia and Latin America.
