On 13 February 2026, the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) Secretary-General paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) in Kuala Lumpur. The visit included discussions with MARGMA’s Executive Director, Linda Tey and Dr. Amir Hashim Md Yatim, on potential areas of collaboration between ANRPC and MARGMA.
During the visit, the Secretary-General engaged in constructive discussions with the leadership and representatives of MARGMA. The dialogue focused on strengthening cooperation across the natural rubber and rubber glove value chain, enhancing downstream value addition, promoting sustainability practices, and addressing current industry challenges amid evolving global market dynamics.
Both parties expressed strong interest in fostering closer collaboration to support industry resilience, advance sustainable growth, and reinforce Malaysia’s role in the global rubber ecosystem.
The meeting underscored a shared commitment to building a more integrated, competitive, and sustainable future for the natural rubber and rubber products sector.
