On 12 February 2026, the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) had the distinct pleasure of welcoming Mr. Yoshiyuki Hosaka and Mr. Taichi Nomura of NOMURA JIMUSHO, INC. to its Secretariat in Kuala Lumpur for a productive and forward-looking discussion.
The meeting featured an engaging exchange of views with Dr. Suttipong Angthong, Secretary-General of ANRPC, and the Secretariat team. Discussions centered on ANRPC’s strategic priorities: enhancing productivity, reducing production costs, strengthening downstream value addition, diversifying income streams, harnessing the environmental value of natural rubber, and improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
These shared priorities underscore a common commitment to sustainable growth and circular economy principles. The visit further highlighted the importance of strengthened collaboration to navigate current industry challenges and seize emerging opportunities in an evolving global market.
